"I went to Sam Ash recently and played many guitars, some of them Telecasters. Expensive ones, too. The Teles felt very odd to me. The Custom Scorpion Guitar 'Felix' felt beautiful right from the git go. Super light. Not so body heavy.
"I love the feel of the neck, too. Satin finish, nice size frets, not too thick overall.
"Then I plugged it into my pedalboard and was like whoa... this thing sounds amazing. So much variety in tones. And really great sounding pickups. The tones just seem to jump out of this thing with a clarity and sparkle. I could play anything from Van Halen to The Police and have every tone I need in one guitar.
